The County Bounty began in 2016 as an organic vegetable farm in Prince Edward County that found it's footing in the farm-to-table drinks space. Although no longer a farm, this all-female company is dedicated to sourcing ingredients from Ontario farmers, paying a fair price for produce, and contributing to a thriving rural economy.

Golden Dawn Butter is locally manufactured by Alliston Creamery in aptly named Alliston, ON. Their creamy local salted butter, melts quickly on the tongue, and leaves a a slightly salty finish. Golden Dawn Butter is Alliston's signature butter and is ideal for for cooking with, or slathering over freshly baked goods.

Alliston Creamery is one of the last remaining independent dairies in Canada! They are family owned and have been in operation since 1968 and remains quite small-scale, processing only 15,000lbs of butter daily.

Ghee is a class of clarified butter that originated in South Asia. Ghee retains more vitamins and nutrients than other clarified butter thanks to its low-heat preparation. It's a great source of vitamin E, vitamin A, antioxidants and other organic compounds that would be broken down or destroyed if boiled at higher temperatures.

Bright's Old White Cheddar has a strong flavour profile, with a more distinguished taste and a slightly crumbly texture than regular cheddar. Excellent to add to cheese boards or premium grilled cheese sandwiches. Bright's Cheese & Dairy is well known for their all natural, naturally-aged cheese made with 100% local milk.

Bright’s Cheese & Dairy is the oldest surviving dairies producing cheddar in Ontario. It was begun by a group of farmers who wanted to use up a surplus of milk from production. By the 1900’s, cheddar cheese was actually Canada’s second biggest export!

Brie Cheese from Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese, their "Brigid's Brie" is a soft surface ripened cheese made with cow's milk from their family farm. This brie is free of stabilizers and preservatives and thus sold with a 'best between' date for your enjoyment. Each batch is aged six weeks and is delicately handled to preserve it's creamy centre. This brie is best enjoyed on it's own or with a flavoured jelly (check out our Provisions Jellies in our Grocery section for the perfect compliment).

Gunn’s Hill is a small, artisanal dairy located in Woodstock. Shep Ysselstein crafts small-batch cheeses made with a marked Swiss influence. Shep’s family have been farming in the region since the 1950s. Shep sources the milk for their line of cheeses from his family farm.

Buffalo Bliss is a six week old soft ripened brie cheese made with creamy buffalo milk from Hope Artisan Dairy Co-Op in Alymer. Best enjoyed on it's own or with a flavoured jelly

Gunn's Hill "Dark Side of the Moo" stout soaked cheese is a hand crafted cow's milk cheese modeled after a Swiss cheese called Mutchli. This cheese is mild with a creamy texture and buttery flavour. "Dark Side of the Moo" is soaked for four days in Dark Side Chocolate Stout from Woodstock's Upper Thames Brewery - hence the name! The cheese is then aged for four months before it is ready to be enjoyed.

Five Brother's Cheese is produced by Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese. This is a handcrafted washed-rind cow's milk cheese that combines traits from Gouda and another Swiss variety called Appenzeller. It is available at 8 months old. It is delicately aged on cedar wood planks adding robust flavors to the cheese. It has creamy and rich flavors with sweeter overtones and distinctive eyes throughout the body of the cheese.

Handeck Cheese is a handcrafted washed-rind cow's milk cheese that is produced using the same methods as a typical Swiss mountain style cheese. It is available at 24 months old. It is delicately aged on cedar wood planks adding robust flavors to the cheese. It is a drier hard cheese with very rich and complex flavors and nutty overtones.

Capella Meadows is a small, certified organic, family farm owned by Erik & Edda Boettcher. Erik and Edda oversee a herd of over 200 purebred French Alpine goats and use biodynamic farming principles. At Capella Meadows, Erik and Edda work hard to transform the land they farm into an organism that is self sustainable, respects the nature of their main workers (our goats) and increases organic matter and biodiversity.

A beautiful expression of ChocoSol's house-blend of cacao, this classic dark chocolate is one of their simplest. A mid-range dark chocolate, this bar is best for enjoying the pure, full-bodied flavour of our feature cacaos. In celebration, each bar is finished with a whole cacao bean.

Duck fat makes for fabulous liquid for deep-frying due to it's high smoke point! Duck fat adds extra-flavour to fried chicken, croquettes, breaded seafood, potato chips and french fries. Our beautiful organic Ontario garlic scapes from Cookstown Greens have a mild garlicky flavour similar to a chive or scallion; they can be preserved, grilled/roasted and many culinary applications.

Garlic scapes are the thin, curly and tender stem and flower bud of the garlic plant. If left unharvested, these scapes would eventually grow to bloom.

Cookstown Greens is a family-run, organic farm located 1 hour north of Toronto, in Essa township. They leave part of their land untouched and use non-intensive farming methods, which contributes to their farm’s biodiversity. They are well known for our quality and flavour of their products.

Hewitt's goat milk is a wholesome alternative to cow milk, containing more natural vitamin A and B (Vitamin B3 or Niacin is nearly double to that of cow milk). Lactose sensitive folks intolerant to cow milk often are able to consume goat milk with no adverse affect.
